Vibrating Front Brakes just prior to Full Stop

Hi Everyone, I have just replaced the Discs, Callipers, Pads and Flexi Hoses on my 2002 Focus ST170.
Each disc was checked with a DTI during fitting to make sure they were running true.

The Discs are MTEC Black Grooved.
I’ve noticed that during braking, and just before the car comes to a complete stop. There is a juddering from the front brakes.

My initial assumption, is that the Black coating is probably melting during braking, and causing this vibration. And once this has worn away, everything will return to normal.

I was just wondering if anyone else has had this sort of issue with coated discs?

We don't coat them here, it seems pretty silly as it will (it BETTER) wear off quick. It did on that guy...........

Thanks AMC49. That does make a lot of sense. To be honest, I have my suspicion that the coating will also get transferred onto the pads. They are EBC Green Pads. So nothing shabby and cheap.

I will probably let things bed in for a couple of hundred miles. Then inspect them all for anything out of the ordinary.
Thanks
