So what is the best bang for the buck for someone who drives in cold weather much of the year, doesn't road race but sometimes likes aggressive driving, wants something at least as good as the stock are in every way, but have much much less dust.... I'm tempted to get my stock rims sprayed black so I don't have to see the ugly dust all the time.

I'd like to think ceramic are what I want, but I want something that isn't going to put me into the back of someone in the winter because they are slow to warm up... and I also hate squeaky brakes... a guy I know had some on his Audi S4 and those things were annoying in cold or in traffic... but they were admittedly nice if already heated up and you were pushing them outside of winter or driving in traffic

I'll probably need new ones by spring or late winter so I'm looking now.

Also do you just turn your rotors the first time or two or do you shell out and get new rotors when replacing pads?

Ceramic's work great for a dd.......For sure you'd want to get new rotors. Performance Brakes - Brake Pads, Brake Rotors and Brake Kits.....use disc italia rotors/pads.
