Leaking coolant bypass pipe

Anyone else ever dealt with this? The 90 metal pipe that's pressed into the block is leaking pretty bad. Looks like it should be fun to replace. Any tips? Tricks? Ideas?

There a press fit and much harder to change then you think , make a tool that catches the bulge to be able to tap it back in

There BETTER be a pressfit I would say, if it has worn by the part moving around it may no longer be tight. I would clean that bore very well and then use epoxy when mounting it again in case some of the interference has dropped off due to loose. When you install it make sure you have a stat cover bolted up tight beforehand to stiffen the whole box up there or you might collapse the casting if you use too much force putting it back in. Crack that box and the block is junk. Look CLOSE, it may be cracked in the bore already, and the leak.
