Definitely plan on ordering the hose. Just kind of a no-brainer to have a straight through large bore hose as opposed to the factory kinked hose with the large TB.

Agreed no gains except to eliminate turbulence from accordian hose.. and its prettier, and using this new one allows for better fitment on larger TB

I'm not sure what you're trying to do here but these negative comments aren't changing anybody's mind.

Not doing it to change anyones mind , I have no stake in the game , I dont sell them

I am correcting the mis information about they add " track gains " and that the hose and larger TB adds any gains / performance

Most add parts to gain performance first , looks second , these gain no performance but look good vs stock

That's like, your opinion. Dyno or not my SE definitely feels more lively with the 63mm throttle body and you're not going to change my mind on that.

But I'm not here to bench race with people... my point is, the way you vehemently keep trying to push your point of view on people is off putting. I say that as someone "considering" doing business with you.

Its not my opinion its what the dyno showed

I have told this story a dozen times on here , A good customer brought me his Camaro and UDP , asked me to install them for him , I thought I would have time but didnt , put his UDP in the trunk and when he came I told him didnt have time to finish it and bring it back tomorrow , He showed up next day and told me how much better it accelerated and felt , I showed him his UDP in the trunk and he swore it felt like I installed them

I am NOT trying to change your mind you say it feels good , if you think it does then good

I am saying what the dyno showed , I made the first large TB and first big hose many years ago, I have a inhouse dynojet and have tested then from 1800 rpm to 7000 rpm , Dyno results dont lie , butt dynos lie all the time

I am not doing this to discourage those that have them but to inform others thinking of buying them that they dont add performance but they do look better

Tom

This has gone on for along time! Anybody who says it will/does or might gain HP/TQ here comes Tom. There are numerous threads out there just like this one. I think once he produced a dyno sheet, but its been so long I don't remember.

Tom, I believe is a good guy, but gets really heated when people start talking about Dyno's and parts. This is his passion; and just needs a cold drink of his choice to cool down, noting against you Tom, Wish you the best and we might do business with each other.

Now back to the Rest of the Story:

On most parts you have to break them in first, before you just throw them on a dyno. The computer has to learn the part. This also involves the tuning of the vehicle. This is also why it's better to race on a roll then standing stop. Less damage/stress on the power train.

This is why Tom needs Data Logging to get you the best tune for everything you have added and keep the engine in the green. just like in another thread he was showing a lean condition with the Old MST tube. I would be curios if the new one would fix the issue.
