If you're hesitant on the cost of a full CAI like the K&N, the AF Dynamic is a straight copy and paste of it and it's about half the cost. Not sure of the gains over the RS box and a K&N filter but might be worth it for looks alone if you care.

You don't have to worry about water ingestion unless your driving through puddles that are 3 feet deep.

Dang, that's honestly not bad at all. To be honest I might end up just buying another stock air box lid and having a cutout similar to the RS air box and having weatherstripping on the top. Then taking out the air resonator. 😕

I also forgot to mention that I've taken out the snorkel which should work better with a semi exposed air box lid

Snorkel delete and a good performance filter make a huge difference. If you want the most volume get the AEM true cold air intake. However, even with a hydrophobic sock for the filter, if you hit a really deep puddle youíre boned.

The best in between is the K&N but itís pricey. Iíve had mine coupled with a bigger filter and throttle body and I love the sound it makes.

RS air box, snorkel delete, ST inlet, and K&N (closed end) filter here. Works great. Good sound. No drama.
