You dont have to weld anything on the fswerks header. it is a direct bolt on. the only issue it has is it sits really close to the front sway bar so if you have a stock rear motor mount it will hit the sway bar under hard acceleration. upgrading to a stiffer rear mount fixes that issue.

as for exhaust, i'd go with the fswerks over ford racing. it's bigger. bigger is better.

I just got the 2.5" Race system installed yesterday (FSWERKS). It's completely fine when you're not WOT but godamn it gets loud. Just driving around normally, it sounds like an STI. Really nice pops and gurgles on downshifts too.

I'm really satisfied with it. Very noticeable increase in power. Still have stock header though - not sure if I can make my car any louder without the 5-0 stalking me all over town :0

FSWERKS Stealth Exhaust is very, very nice. Have zero regrets. However, I have no experience with the other.

+1 for this, the RMM that fswerks sells for $10 is pretty much the best bang for buck upgrade you can do to these cars. Takes 10 minutes to install too if you have the car on the lift already for something else (like the exhaust...)

Exhaust install is simple too, I think it maybe took me an hour including removing the old one (I do have access to a lift though)

Might sound cool for a bit, after a week or so you'll add a stealth muffler + makes driving on the freeway so much better.......
