The ST has used an NA TB and the 63mm TB, so plug n play should be simple, but yes till installed not totally verified

Tom, would that help with the datalog ?
I may have to put the intake manifold and 3inch intake on one go as thats the only intake pipe I would have.
I can do the throttle body and maf on seperate datalogs.
The 180 degree thermostat wouldn't mess all that up would it

Every new component or changed component is a variable to consider if something should go wrong - More variables mean less certainty which means more time consuming troubleshooting.
Best to do one mod at a time, assess any differences and then continue on.

But however you decide to go about doing it, good luck to you!

I'm wondering if we could talk Tom into making those 3in intakes he made awhile back. they dont have a heat shield or anything like that so they might be easier to position with the new throttle body placement on the TTR intake manifold. The intake he made has a 3in maf built in too. He also tested a 67mm TB he made himself. he said it showed no gains when he dyno'd it but maybe it would in combo with the TTR manifold and 3in intake.

3in filter:

http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/d...om-intake.html

67mm TB:

http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/d...ttle-body.html

last couple pages of that talk about the 67mm TB he made.

There are those of us who are curious enough about this option to see what it takes to make it work. That's what this thread was originally aimed at.

I would be open to anyone that has the new intake , RS TB and my intake pipe to offer my Dynojet dyno for testing to see what each part does , There would be no dyno time charge as long as you have my tune already
