Cold Air Intake / Exhaust Advice

Hey guys I'm new to this forum and new to the Ford Focus in general! I just purchased a 2016 Ford Focus SE hatchback. There is three things I plan on doing for sure window tint, CAI and exhaust. Just looking on some input on the K&N 69 Series Typhoon Air Intake and the Ford Performance Exhaust. If anyone has these upgrades please give some input on whether or not they are worth the money?!?!? Also how would these upgrades impact my factory warranty? The K&N intake has shown good gains but is it worth the extra $ as compared to say, the fswerks intake? that's up to you to decide. It has shown a couple WHP gain over the fswerks but at almost twice the cost. I personally went with the fswerks since it's cheaper and still showed good gains. As for exhaust, i think the Ford performance exhaust is over priced for what you get. you'd be better off going the custom route through a local exhaust shop, or again, check out fswerks. they offer a full 2.5in mandrel bent stainless steel exhaust for like $500ish i think. not a bad price for a quality exhaust.

K&N is good, I think the steeda intake is a bit better because it has a velocity stack, utilizes a stock airtube which feeds into the stock airbox, now into the sealed off box around the steeda filter and this intake had slightly more gains for one of the top..think AEM was up there too.

First thing I did was the K&N system. Next was the fswerks 'race' catback. How much difference did it make? We'll, it's louder! Maybe gained a few HP from the intake, not sure if the exhaust made a difference. Next is a tune which I think will make the gains more realistic. Also planning on getting the velossatech air installed.

i made a custom intake with a k&n filter and mst hose. Then for exhaust i have a full st catback without the resonator. Sounds great, accelerates much better than when the car was stock. Especially with a rmm too.

I like the idea of the mst intake elbow. You could pick up a used intake on the forums for half of what they cost new (steeda, k&n, etc). If it's just the filter go aem dry as it doesn't require you to reoil like the k&n. You have to clean reoil the steeda/k&n. I like the fsweks stealth because it's mandrel bent with 2.5" stainless steel. If you don't go that route just find a shop that can custom fab a 2.5" exhaust with mandrel bends. Definitely add Toms tune and a rear motor mount! I would do the latter prior to the former.
