If you guys are paying for shipping, I'd be happy to lend you my intake manifold. It sure would be nice of you if you could give a flange in return lol

As for tuning, it is probably not going to run right without a tune. I would expect that this be the last thing people do after I/E/H so you'd probably have a tune anyway. Get Tom to tune your focus! He already has the jump on an IM tune and the only one available currently afaik.
is the install pretty easy for these? i installed the header myself but that is about as far as my mechanical knowledge goes in terms of cars.

I was thinking about making a bigger header...

As for the install on the IM? Putting the new one on is the easy part. You are absolutely going to break vacuum fittings getting the old one off so make sure you are comitted before hand.

You are a pretty smart guy, I mean.. your intake man is same design as the TTR for Cobalt 2.2L engine (the one pictured)...they said their plenum is larger then yours so this is why the runners are 4" I would imagine...and you had nice, velocity stacks around the runners...its pretty nice job! You said tuning would be needed as I mentioned... how is the car running, throwing any codes? Just wondering what's making you think you need a tune.

I will pay the shipping of the manifold to TTR, thank you very much...if anything happens to it, I will buy you a new one. If you could package it carefully, box it up, get a quote, I will paypal you asap...dont want to pay a fortune, but relatively quick shipping say 6 business days or less? TTR will ship it back, they said don't need it for very long...THANK YOU

Way easier install then a header..geeze, that took me all day, mostly because of the stock header and my stubborness to get it out without removing a headstud (have bad luck trying to remove them) in the way.

Only so many ways to have 4 air horns and a plenum arranged, even the old Cosworth setup for the duratec could be considered similar - just made into a casting part instead of welded up item.

I say tuning is needed because it ran like crap until Tom had his way with it.

PM me with details and I'll try to have it out this weekend.
