I dont see why it wouldnt , the SC doesnt know or care what Intake you have

Would have to mount a power steering pump because thats what turns the SC , One of the MK3 engines we had in rebuilding I test fitter the earlier MK2 ps pump on and doesnt look like it will be an issues to mount it

Hey Tom, do you know roughly when this will be ready? And also roughly what it would cost?

Hi Guys,

I've been following this for quite a while and have also done some research some time ago. The UK company Caterham us the Ford Duratec 2.0lt NA with a SC fitted and have this kit available

Rotrex Superchargers | Car Superchargers and Motorbike Supercharger Ki

This could be one option as its already designed for the engine.

That's been around for the older duratecs, that kit in particular is for a RWD caterham style kit car.

Not sure where the A/C pump is located on a mkIII, but on 03-11 the pump is right where that supercharger mounts so it wasn't a viable option for the earlier models.

MkIII tucks the A/C underneath & slightly back from center with it's own drive belt.

That's not saying there's room stock, haven't seen it tried/looked close.

I reached out to them a while back for a shipping quote to the states and never heard anything from them. It's the same supercharger that Rotrex Superchargers | Product Categories | Jackson Racing sells, so I reached out to them instead since they're state-side and near my home town. I still haven't heard anything from them either (been nearly a week!) but hopefully I get some feedback soon.

Looking at the space, the ideal place would be right where the alternator is currently, moving the alternator to the rear side of the engine. But until I know which SC to run, I can't speak specifically to size and mounting options.

I would love to give it a shot when available. It looks like fun. I'd probably need to call you a few times when installing it
