There is no SC in the world like this , I have had the pleasure to be at his shop a few days and got to drive all the SC Duratecs and I was VERY impressed and most the old FF crew knows I dont like SC

The on demand boost is instant , by instant I mean all in by 1500-1800 and is adjustable
I cannot talk a lot about it but hope to have a working prototype in my shop sometime in 2017 for the Zetec , Duratec and MK3

I dont like SC because they have no way to raise the boost easily , this SC boost can be changed on the fly or almost as easy as a turbo

And like Sailor said , heat , most create a LOT of heat , the ProCharger and Vortech have intercoolers but both the roots style ( jrsc and power works ) dont have any that are worth installing

All the SC that have ever been out for the Focus engine are/were undersized and no real way at all to change that , the HydroCharger uses half a Turbo to make boost and is ideal in ever way , I feel he is going to revolutionize SC`ing and I am grateful to of been a small part of it

Tom
Don't mean to argue Tom but a guy I know on FB had a supercharged focus and it was making high 300's...I cant remember what type of charger but he said it made way more power then any of the other kits like jackson racing, etc. I'll try and dig up the info

I spy a liquid to air intercooler there, and in front of the radiator the cap/tank/radiator for it.

Supercharger available for mk3?

Is this a centrifugal S.Charger Tom?

I have a RHD Focus and I am definitely leaning more towards a SC than a Turbo. Please can you keep RHD in mind.

Yep, half a std. exh. driven type.

The difference with this one is the drive system. Instead of the typical belt drive off the front of the engine it uses a hydraulic motor driven off the P/S pump. Variable power settings by controlling the motor input.

Pretty cool idea.

He has a Duratec ? There were no kits made for the Duratec Focus 2003-2011 , He could of made the brackets him self

There was many kits for the Zetec , JRSC , PWorks , Vortech , ProCharger

I did a few that were over 300HP to the wheels on the Zetec

If I made the brackets how hard would be to install a super charger like this

Edit. Should have read the post first. Looks like it is already in development
