Factory specification performance of the fuel system have nothing to do with flow or pressure limitations of the pumps. The correlation of maximum flow at x pressure that Tom will run into issues with when he starts stretching the stock fuel system's legs is the question here.

That's why that chart left me thinking about that. There isn't much technical data on the components that ford used for the fuel system so we are left with trial and error including having to push the car to the limits to determine those ranges. The ST community might have some more insight on these components and could really help us. As always engine safety comes first.

The only thing we know is the fuel pump (LP) in the tank and HPFP is NOT the same for the ST....

why? more room for performance? Or more room for safety (fuel trim)?

If the same can be used... it's not very cost effective (factory in mind)

Lp pump may very we be the same. Pump, just with different inputs varies pressure. Im still running my same intank pump and so is the BT STedan i built

There are NA guys running St injectors so this is one option.
