If you had read I said I DONT REMEMBER the name , not that I didnt know who made the IC and if you had been following the discussion for the last few weeks you would know there is a guy installing the second kit , it was shipped to him yesterday , then it gets tuned and dynoed

Tom
My nonsense for asking about who makes it? It was a curious question because it looks like an eBay intercooler and I would think people that are actually interested in the kit would be interested in knowing what company did the legwork. Go ahead and move it if you're so worried about answering legitimate questions.

I know you like to debate & ask pointed questions, but who made the intercooler was a question by another member.

This was the prev. comment.

More of a dig for not remembering/giving out the source of the intercooler right away.

Numbers put down is a legit question, known to have no answer yet by those following the progress as reported.

Tonight's comment on "E-Bay" intercooler is a bit of an implied slur on quality, buying there could source both good or bad items. Can't imagine buying there for anything you'd want to get again to match, unless it was a deal on a product regularly avail. elsewhere. (changing pipes to match odd intercoolers would be too much work)

Tone often starts off unnecessary conflict, even when some questions are legit.

Also keep in mind dyn085 that you and Tom most always don't get along lol so he might misinterpret the tone of your posts.

Probably a thermal coating. Hyundai puts it on their OEM piping.

I'm impressed at how people would rather try and tear at my words instead of read and think about them. When I buy or test a part and it impresses me, I remember it. If it doesn't, I don't. People that have followed more over the years have seen me test multiple parts on multiple platforms and I can still tell you about almost every single one...if it impressed me.

So yes, it was an honest question and if your impression is that it was worded in a 'dick way' then you read it in a 'dick way', but how you read it wasn't my intent. I mostly type things out how I think them. Maybe my thoughts are the dicks?

But everyone argues that all the time because it's easier than doing any sort of critical thinking. I don't expect that to change anytime soon but I'm still the same person I always was, even when I was sharing fewer and cheap mods that everyone could benefit from without having to send me any money. Anyways, here's the second intercooler from a generic eBay search of the word 'intercooler'-

I'm not saying that it's the same part and I'm not trying to imply that either. It's black and the first pic is black and maybe that's all they have in common. Whether it is good or not would really come down to legitimate datalogging but usually a vendor cites the manufacturer in order to leverage the weight of their name. Even the small vendors that manufacturer their own intercooler at least cite where the core was sourced (and usually why they designed their end-tanks however they designed them as well) for the exact same reason.

Turn this into a hate discussion if you want but I have always done what I can to inform communities so that they can make better decisions. That involves asking simple questions like whom a manufacturer is or what numbers something puts down. Sorry for being so offensive.

You're clearly not buying a kit, so why bother?? Going back to grade school, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it.
