would a 70mm benefit the 05-07? if i was to port out a 67mm one or is the gains minimal?

Getting way OT now, this section is for the MkIII's.

Small change makes a small difference, and with the difficulty of making a GOOD new throttle plate it's def. not worth it.

Largest change from a larger TB is quicker throttle reaction off idle and at low throttle openings, small change at WOT that's dependent on flow (more at high flow as with forced induction).

No it will not work. Besides there's tons of vendors that make parts for the mk1 why even bother asking about mk3 parts.. not trying to be rude but I see this asked waaaay too much.

Tom tested a larger TB and dynoed the car, didnt get any gains..can was mostly stock tho
