A little bit off topic here, but since we're talking chassis...

Is anyone running the Steeda Front Sway Bar, Rear Sway Bar, or both?? I already have the FSWERKS RSB installed and am wondering just how much more I can lock down the car.

Ive got the steeda rear sway bar and it makes a huge difference if locking down the back end which emphasizes the oversteer feeling these cars have and takes away most of the understeer. I haven't done a front sway bar because i dont want to risk taking away from that oversteer characteristic. I will be doing an upgraded front strut tower brace eventually just to tighten the front up a little more before going onto lowering performance springs. Bit i can tell you that the steeda rear sway bar is money very very well spent

Awesome - thanks for the input! Very moderately priced too. It's crazy how much more expensive the FSB is...

I already have the front strut tower brace on my list so the two of those combined with some Sport springs...I'm sure she'll feel like a completely different car!

Youll notice the difference with the rear sway bar as soon as you pull out of the driveway the first time too

That first bump/pothole you hit you'll feel too lol. Amazing what a RSB and rear strut tower brace does for this car.

The frame flex is not as bad as you think guys... my MK1.5 HB is way worse... the MK3 has been stiffened more...well that one you can thanks the engineers

Agree on the rear sway bar... between the two... rear sway bar improvement is very noticeable.

Just installed today and i gotta say you can actually feel the back end stiffening, around corners it has a similar effect as the rear sway bar in that the back end slides around abit as the front dives into the turn. But even at average cruising the back end is more stable going over bumps in the road and honestly feels less shaky and harsh overall to me. Very pleasantly surprised at how much a difference this made as i was initially a skeptic as well.

Good input!

How was the install? Did you hit any strange roadblocks? Any tips or tricks before I purchase and install?
