Do you understand that the DCT is a Manual gearbox with solenoids working the shifts/clutch much like paddle shift in the Porsche , Ferrari , Varon etc ?

One clutch is used for 1-3-5
One clutch is used for 2-4-6

When the trans shifts to say 3rd then 4th is loaded and ready for the 2-4-6 gear clutch to release

At a complete stop hold the brake then give it throttle and it will let you rev up the engine. If you let go of the brakes it bogs down. If I let of the gas then floor it, that will engage the clutch but its slow abd sloppy. I'd like to use this to launch the car but not sure if that can be reprogrammdd or not.

No I didn't not know that, that's actually very interesting, I have a 5 speed so I never really paid attention to the DCT

This slips the clutch horribly bad , the reason it boggs it to stop the clutch slippage , you would be better off flooring it from a dead stop and let me get rid of some of the slippage and engagement time and with the tunes better acceleration and throttle response this should help you
