"Stealth" Muffler Suggestions

I just bought the OBX header and have a TruBendz 2.25" Borla exhaust, and the car is rough to drive on the highway. Can anyone recommend a quality stealth type muffler to install to quiet the drone on the highway?

Please don't say cherry bomb.

its a 2.5" in and out, so theyd have to needlessly step up and back down in diameter to make it work.

I would suggest trying to figure out how much space you have (measure) and buy the longest/largest vibrant resonator you can.

Thanks, I think that's all the info I needed. I don't want to buy the FSWerks stuff if it's not going to be a direct bolt-on part.

If the flange is stock, the FSWerks is a direct bolt on, but you wouldn't be able to get just the stealth resonator you'd need the full kit unless you adapt (to be more clear)

I have hah decent experience with a magnaflow resonator, but Vibrants Ultra Quiet resonator does a good job handling sound with a relatively short resonator. If you opt for one, you can put them in the mid straight pipe before the muffler (flex pipe to first bend, below the center console) I'd say no longer that 26" is a safe point, but measure to be safe. I have an 18" on my SVT, but the exhaust is the same after the flex and until the over-axle

http://magnaflow.com, go to universal section & then look at the 4'',5'' or 6'' round w/ a 24''-30'' case length.

Thanks for the assist, guys. I've got this and a wideband port to weld-in, so I should be able to get it done all at once and finish up my tune with Tom. Between the drone and the inability to go above 4k RPM, I'm getting antsy.

Wow...car is way quiet now! I think they put a 4" x 24" resonator on there plus my wideband port. Now I just need to wire in the wideband and finish up the tune with Tom.
