Supercharger bottom pulley?

I've been googling around and haven't come up with how I would add a bottom pulley for a supercharger. Quite frankly I've never put a supercharger on a car before so if this is a noob question I apologize, I found a pulley for the zetec but it was quite expensive and I doubt it'd fit the duratec.

Another unrelated thing. I've never seen a SC duratec only turbo anyone know of one?

This is not true, there are a handful of supercharger kits for the duratec (seeing as it's a popular kit car motor and an engine cosworth has used). Just hard to get here in America, and they would take some serious mods to make them fit...

Well my point is there are sc kits made for this specific engine, and there is a good amount of space under the hood it's definitely doable, just not popular since there's not a lot of info on it. After all it is just (heh. this makes it sound easy) adding more air and tuning to match. No disrespect Tom, but if someone wants to supercharger over turbo we should be helping.

This would fit the engine, probably not into the bay without modifications.

If you have some engineering skills/available workshop you can use a 3800 supercharger from any v6 Pontiac or Buick with the sc 3.8 like this guy here.

I was planning on getting one off a toyota previa but that seems like a better idea and it's more common of a supercharger. I saw the other kit for the DT that you mentioned and I would go with that, but it's a little pricey and I like my air conditioning . I can fab something up with a pontiac or buick charger. thanks for the info and good wishes!

I know, that's one of the reasons I want to do it. it'd be pretty cool to have the only (known of) supercharged DT focus, that's not the only reason though. Superchargers while yes making less performance tend to not catastrophically fail in ways that would damage an engine ie. overboost (which isn't a fail but is bad)

and I mean I don't want to mess with the exhaust or oil lines.

Edit: I should mention that my plans for the custom intake will drastically increase the feasibility of this I can upload an STL file somewhere if you like it's not "done" but its a concept and will be modified to fit the space accordingly

Tom knows these cars better than most of us here so he'd be a good one to ask if you have any questions
