BSD= balance shaft delete. http://c-f-m.com & http://massivespeedsystem.com have the bsd plug......Pull the oil pan & remove 4 bolts & you'll have 19lbs of excess debris as well as rotational weight. You'll plug the oil feed hole, reinstall the oil pan as well as swap out the filter & add 6 qtrs of oil. You'll find a lot more freer revving motor.
Oh no don't get me wrong there is certainly more to just 0-100 this is a wonderful lil car as my daily I just want to make every part of it last as long as possible an have minimal maintenance cost with removal of the bsd the increased vibration an wear in the long run is where the problem would appear
So looking at my options for fluids. thinking motorcraft synthetic with motorcraft filter or I could get mobile 1 synthetic with a k&n filter price difference is 4 bucks. does it matter which I buy ?
Alright oils changed and transmission filter/fluid changed. I already love this car now it's showing me it's full potential ?
used: -mobile 1 full synthetic w/k&n filter
- Valvoline Dex/Merc.
Thanks for all the help folks ?
