2012 camry V6 runs a 14.1 1/4 mile and goes 0-60 in 5.7 seconds. They make ~240 whp and ~ 220ft. Lbs stock.

There's not a snowballs chance in hell even a fully modded N/A mk3 Focus is gonna touch that.

The 2.5L makes around what our cars make stock to the wheels but has about 20 more ft lbs of torque. ( I own one)
The 2.5 was tested at 0-60 in 8.2 and a 16 second 1/4 mile.
Personally I believe that numbers a little off cause mine has consistently ran 0-60 in about 7.7 but I have never ran at a track as its my family mobile. Stock against stock my camry would beat the focus to 60 marginally and would pull way better from a 55 roll.
Post tuning and drop in filter on my focus put me at and Avg of 7 sec to 60 so now it can beat the camry easy.

The 2.5L hybrid camry was rated at 0-60 in 7.2 and a 15.5 1/4 mile. They make 200hp and 199tq from the combined gas/electric drive train. Thats more in out league for a lightly modded focus.

I'm borderline on selling my focus and going back to 2 wheels to be honest.

Off the line it was closer but we only went to 60 and i had him by about a car and a half. Btw his car is auto.
The night of my 15.0 it was high 40s, next to no humidity.

I had never run the car completely stock but with just an intake an no tune my best time was a 15.9

Wrong, I didn't even get a 15.99. Also, that 15.0 was a Florida track with excellent track prep and sea level elevation.
Yes the 15.0 was perfect conditions.
There were a few things helping though.
No spare tire.
Rear tires at 50 PSI
Front tires at 35
Fallen Ziex 912 tires.
Excellent track prep

On normal nights with 75+ degree weather and humidity like Florida is used to, I can squeak out a 15.3-15.4 at about 90-91 depending on the alignment of the planets.

The day was not ideal for racing as the wind was pretty strong and it was hot.
Due to the excellent track prep of Orlando Speed world (And the E focus rear motor mount seemed to help quite a bit) I launch at 5250-5500 RPM. Below that the car bogs.

You know as well as I, bench racing is the answer. You look at the 'post your dyno' and 'post your 1/4 miles times' threads and you don't see much activity. But you'll see thousands of people giving advice, virtually none of which proven or verifiable by themsleves.
As always, if you want an answer you have to just do it yourself.

My goal has always been 200whp. And as far as I'm aware, I'm the closest active member to that point with a zetec. I've said more than a few times that my last dyno is low compared to what the car is at now, but I can't back any of that up until I actually dyno. But a dyno now is just a waste because I have a few other things I want to do first.
But still, I'm pretty confident I can get there on what I have. Just need to get my tune right and I feel I'll find my missing HP.
FWIW, my dyno is now 4 years old and the last time I was at the track was 3 years ago. Lots has changed since then.

Far as any track times go, you can speculate all you want. But W/O knowing weight it's all moot. A guy who pulls everything they can almost always runs faster than a full weight car, but the same/similar MPH.

And then there's the 'well my buddy' guys. Just ignore those types of people.
^Thank you. There's no replacement for doing it yourself.

If there's any more questions about my run, or stuff like that (I seriously laughed pretty hard at the John Force comment) feel free to ask. I have nothing to hide.

Far right is with a passenger.
As far as I can remember everything else was solo. Here's my car in warm muggy weather.

You can look up the DA on dragtimes.com they have all the weather data for the track on their website.

I guess I don't see but 1 run in those slips.
I don't see the Focus being classed as a "bike" and I'm not aware of racer #'s changing during an event.

I don't know why they put my car down as a bike, must be a tower error, but yes. I am #34.

vs those runs, I can see where other errors may have been made.

A nice tailwind on the 15 run.

How many times have you run that?
If it's only once, according to the scientific method you need a proof, or a couple more runs to back it up.

I have only two from that night.

Somewhere from that night I have a 15.1 run.
