Two weeks after I did the front KYBs I went back under the car to tighten things up, since there had been some clunking noises over certain bumps. I replaced the lower pinch bolt with new ones; I had spread the knuckle with a chisel to get the old strut out, and the old bolt didn't seem to have enough bite to pull itself through to where it had been originally (maybe I'm wrong, but it was easy to redo). I was able to tightened the endlinks some more. I checked the 6 top bolts, under the hood, and everything is now great.

I just pulled the front struts apart, to save the springs, and to confirm that the dampers were also way past due for replacement. I should have replaced everything at 70,000 miles.
