No doubt. In my old CP SHO, running 275's up (and 225's in the rear =) ) I was running -3.5 up front...and still needed slightly more. I find it hilarious that a camber option was very easy for my Old Taurus....and not a Focus.

With that being said.... -2.5 will be perfectly fine for Local/Regional events anyways. This car is really just a stop gap until I can get back in to A-Street anyways.

Hot dang i now regret getting a real battery! ;)

We didn't see you at BSCC Saturday! But we didn't wake up in time for the morning session either... herd it was pretty slick in the AM. It warmed up a bit in the PM.

The focus was slow, but fun! I blame the OLD tires, totally not us noob drivers ;) Would love to see how a preped one will do!

That hold down strap looks a little better than my large ziptie tie downs. :D

Threw a couple more parts on the car, actually my wife did some work as well. I gave her the K&N fipk intake to put on, and we both worked on getting the OMP champs in there.

I really like the fipk intake its all one piece of plastic and with the filter only weights 2#, the only issue is its made for the 2005 and new duratecs, and apparently they have a bigger t-body. I used a left over reducer from my MINI build to fix the problem.

Here is a shot of the OMP champs, I used the planted brackets on both sides and some let over side mount brackets. The whole shooting match comes in around 28# a side.

i have an 04 SVT, bought it last fall and it's been a good project and money pit trying to make it to STF with it this season but i can't find a proper way to adjust camber. got the rota slipstreams already but i dont feel like im going to fabricate plates like Justing did.

what do you think about these ? if they dont have enough adjustment it looks like there is a little meat left to modify them.

MK1 Pillowball Adjustable Camber Kit Plates Ford Focus coilover Kits | eBay

on the other hand i have another set of control arms that i could weld in the ball joints extensions

Try those camber plates and see what happens.

Otherwise, your options are to Find a set of KMAC plates like I did, the Ball Joint Sliders and Adjustable Control arms.

FWIW, I would not recommend the SPC camber plates, or the similar Remarketed Steeda ones, etc. They offset the spring and put a TON of load on the strut shaft.

Back at it after some time away from the focus. I have replaced all the rear bushing with the poly pieces. I bought a pair of aluminum coil over spring perches from a member on the boards here and installed those. Welded big washers on the new control arms I picked up. I also bought and install the Massive speed systems rear disc brake conversion kit.

So everything in the rear is done except for picking out shocks, still up in the air about that, I can get D.A. konis that have been shortened for about $800 or go with the standard S.A. for maybe $300. I'm cheap and have been searching for something used.

I'm in the process of making two bushings for my rear sway bar, I don't like how the holes in the bar are bigger than the end link bolts, by a bit.
