So just curious whats everybodys take on Carbon Fiber trim and accessorys.
Door pillar overlays
Hatch Trim
Eyelids
Dash Kits
Hoods
Hatchs
Mirror covers etc
I know all the hondas and crap have given carbon fiber a bad name and people think its ricey but you look at all the high end cars (ZR1, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Ferrari, etc) and alot of them have carbon fiber interior and body parts.
I did my radio bezel and vent trim as well as shifter bezel, triangle trim and b pillars. Looks great and non rice.
Just like anything ya don't want to over do it. I did my eyelids with black gloss paint to blend with the hood n panels.
Thanx! I looked around when I did mine. I found a site, woodgraintrim.com or something like that. It was a bit pricy and was just precut vinyl kit for the interior. I bought a high grade 3m roll of CF for $10 and did it myself. Looks pro if you take your time.
Finding actual CF accessories was out of the ? With my current situation.
Good luck with your decision and can't wait to see what ya come up with.
It's simple. Lay it over ur part, cut a bit bigger than the part and hit with heat gun and smooth out and wrap around edges a bit. I found a window tint squeegee works great to smooth.
I remember Extreme Demensions was thinking about making CF center consoles for the first gen then backed out cause they said it would be too complicated. They seem to back out a lot.
I like the cf wrap for hoods. You don't have to deal w/ hood pins or hoods flying up?
