How-To : Spark Plug Removal Warning: Neither Focus Fanatics nor its Members may be held responsible for the outcome of performing such a modification to ones car(Ford Focus). Such acts are performed at ones own risk, and sole responsibility must be assumed. This may include, but not limited to, the voiding of Ford vehicles factory warranty. Always put safety first; using jackstands, eye protection, and all other required safety measures. It is also recommended to have supervision whenever possible. Items Needed: 1. 8mm Socket 2. Spark Plug Socket 3. 6 inch Extension 4. Ratchet 5. Four Spark Plugs 6. Spark plug Gapper Install Time: Difficulty Level: 25 Minutes 2 Directions: Step 1 Using an 8mm socket, remove the bolt which attaches the coil to the valve cover. Step 2 Remove the coil/spark plug boot from the chamber. Step 3 Repeat Step 1 and 2 for all four plugs. Step 4 Using a Spark plug socket, remove all four spark plugs from the chamber. Step 5 Using a spark plug gapper, gap the spark plug to the suggested size. Step 6 Use the spark plug socket to reattach the plugs back into the chamber. Be careful as to not over tightened them. Please use the suggested torque specifications.
