this is like the one i had before the alu one. how did you take out the cap, i had to sink the antenna in hot water.

I like it I wish I would have done that. I had the aluminum one and someone tried to steal it but I tightened it down and they broke it off that sucks.

ouch that sucks sharon. yeah i had to let it sit in some boiling water then the cap popped off with a lil force... easiest mod there is haha. you can prolly get a new stock antenna from a junkyard sharon.

i wish they made the shorty antenna's flexible cuz i've already broke off the base twice in the winter when scraping the snow off my focus. It's just a brittle little metal piece that breaks too easily. :(
