still need something to go under it but its just a 3 inch rubber PVC fitting and a ra-active cone filter ... total cost $40

Bought a no-name SRI off ebay for $40. Worked and sounded great. No CEL's or nothin. But i like the ingenuity. My pal made a PVC intake for his Chevy S10 and it worked great too!

Yea , they do work great . Only thing that differs this from a 200 dollar one is the MAF tube. but for my application im not worried. I priced out MAF tubes and then realised that you may as well just spend the money. I was thinking of running a full pvc intake but im not sure if it will actually be worth while. I do plan on getting some sort of heat shield for the summertime.
