I have heard that lots of people say they dont like this interior. I ask WHY? Is it the power moon roof, or Is it the cd holder in the dash, could it be the cruise control, mabey its the steering wheel mounted radio controls, oh i know mabey its the 6 disc in dash mp3 cabable SONY Audiophile soundsystem, or the leather trimed suede seats. The point is that the list goes on and on and on. I chalange anyone to give me a valid reason why with a few minor touchs the ST interior is anything but classic

how many cars under $30,000 come with standard tilt and telscopic steering...um 1

alot of ppl say they dont like it because, they favor the older look.. I do as well, now I dont hate the new interior's design, but I just like the older one much better.. but youre right it does have some nice features..

the thing I don't like about the new interior is that everything is so sharp looking where as in the older ones everything just seams to flow from one side to the other.

I don't like the new focus inside.The older focus is more like a focus new edge.Here in Holland is this also.It is like a focus -c max .The dashboard is streaht and the radio is only sony.We like more din radio's then de big ford radio,with 10 watt and no more power.

man for the 05 st.. i sat in one before there pretty nice... to bad that there not a 6 speed though... but i love the black insterment display pannel

The new interior just looks....blah. No pizzaz or flare that the 1st gen has. Its just a cookie-cutter generic looking dash, take off the Ford emblem and it looks like it could be at home in a Honda, Toyota, or even a Chevy.

umm. car features are no reason why people hate the INTERIOR lol
my 01 has most of the features (minus the sunroof) and quite frankly, Sony is shit so cut that out
the new itnerior sucks because it looks like Ford tried to hard to make it look clean and sleek, the old Focus' interior was nice because it had curves to it. i, like most people, hate square uncurved interiors.. it has to flow. which this doesn't really.
