I had a question, did you install them yourself because I have a pair and I'm wondering how easy it would be to do the job myself, and did you buy new struts/shocks and if you did how was the ride after that? Great drop btw.

The install took a professional at a ford dealership about 45 minutes with the right tools and a lift. I didn't do it myself, but probably could have if i had an impact gun. It's not an easy job to do. I knew the guy and he charged me 60 bucks. He originally wanted 120 but I talked him down. I bought the struts/shocks after i had it installed which was STUPID cuz' now i have to charge myself labor again for someone to do the job AGAIN. The ride kinda sucks with that low of a drop. I got the pro damper kit from Eibach and hope to install soon.

well, I just did the install with a friend about a week ago. It took us a while, only because we didn't have the right tools at first and some stuff wasn't doing what we wanted, but we got it working right. I'm rubbing a little bit right now but I'm getting koni and spax struts in a week so it should be good. I can't wait!!!

My bro in law and I put my Progress 1.8's in ourselves. Took a little time, but they ride good, and I've had no problems. And I'm still on the same shocks and struts, and no dampers. I've had em in for about 2 1/2 mnts, I love em.
