thanks, I chose Pioneer though because I've had a lot of good experiences, and not so with Alpine. Probably not gonna change the knobs or ashtray, maybe, but I'm not too worried about it.

Kinda weird enclosure that head unit has, doesnt touch neither top nor bottom, hmmm. Not sure if I like that.. If you are interested in color matching the surround to the console you can get a silver one at RadioShack. Other than that I'm sure it pumps good sound for you to listen to your Jessica Simpson CD. What are those blue clips on your vents? LEDs?

I was wondering what those blue things were in your center vents, too?

They're air fresheners (MEDO) so that I can smell the clean air scent while I'm listening to my Jessica Simpson cd. WTF? haha

I think it looks good. It's alot better then the half-azz jobs I have seen by bestbuy or circuit city (hate them both)

Thanks playboy! I'm with you on that, never been too happy w/ circuit city or best buy, although I'd go to best buy any day over circuit city if I had to choose. :)

How about throwing the Pioneer **AND** the Alpine out and pick up a real deck like an Eclipse. :) FLAME ON!

Okay noob...flame away, my friend. though I gotta tell you, I could care less what you have to say about it, because I've had great experiences with Pioneer. Budzen, I'd like to see a pic of yours, because I agree, my mount does look a little off. I'm not too worried about it though, I don't really care how it looks, it plays my music and that's what matters to me! :) But I would like to see whatcha got, sounds like you've got a nice setup. Thanks for the comments everyone, even you NOOB!
