I had it off and wrapped it. After i took the Procharger off, i took the engine down to the block and did some work to it for all-motor. It runs better now than it ever has, she will scream now.

I don't have to ask the know it made a difference wrapping the headers me personally I would do it if I had the SVT gets rid of that nasty heat shield

Wrap works better. I have had that question before, and in the many forms of racing ive been involved with, the wrap does a better job of getting the heat out.

thats next on my car, im getting the OBX and me and my dad are going to cut out the resignator on the downpipe it comes with and weld in a Dynomax high flow cat.

ive wanted to remove that nasty heat shield forever, its just so close to that electric fan i assumed the headers would melt it. Good idea with the wrap, how much does that stuff run anyways?

Most times the wrap you need is a 50' roll, 2" wide. That will do one svt header and its usually around $42.
