Anyone know if Auburn Gear makes a differential for the MTX-75. They say different sizes on their website...but I don't know what size the gear ring is on the MTX-75. I am going to make an assumption that it is a 7.5 in[dunno]
do you know what the gear size and bolt pattern for the mtx75 diff. is?crazymechanic said:auburn does not make one for the mtx75. you need a torsen or a quaife
There has to be something other than those two though dude. I still want to know that info, so if you know it, please inform me.crazymechanic said:you don't need any of that info. torsen and quaife both list their diffs for the ford focus mtx75 fwd.
lol...your car is older, it makes sense. I know that the torsen and quaife are probably the best out there, but I know there are other companies that make one for less but get the job done. And I wasn't complaining, if I was complaining I would start whining about how they are SOO expensive and I can't possibly buy one[rolleyes] []TheMightyEscort said:Cheaper? CHEAPER??!?!
Dude, count your lucky stars that your atb differentials are only 800 bucks. The quaife for my car (which really isn't for my car, but for a 626) is 1500 dollars. On top of that I need a 500 dollar custom drivers side axel so it'll work.
Not to sounds like an ass, but don't complain, you have it good.

mummhumm... [~]kenpokid said:Honestly, I am looking for something a little cheaper. I have looked at the phantom grip before, but I don't trust it. I figured if auburn gear had a 7.5 in version of there LSD, I could get it...but I would need to quote them on a price, I think it is around 300-400
