Auto wont go into top gear but, FI engine not making power like it should???

We're using 2 ECU because we don't have any other choice in the matter.
The stock ECU is running the auto only and the stand alone is Adaptadaic running the engine.

My tuner doesn't want tune the auto because he's worried it'll blow up and if anything goes wrong he needs tech support, SCT Australia doesn't and won't support this non turbo Focus.

THE AUTO WIll LOSE 30-40% PLUS ANOTHER 15% ATMOSHERE AIR PRESSURE, THATS THE DIFFERENT BEWTEEN USA AND AUSTRALIA

The problem we're facing is from 1st to 2nd shift fine but when you put it into drive it kick back into 2nd like it should but, the car speed stop at 130kms but, the engine want to take off????
We need it hold or lock it in 3rd some how????

We're changing the stock 15" wheels to the drag 15x9.5" drag tyres and see if that'll make any different on the dyno???

this is not the post I wanted to post but, starting to run out of option here.

There's so much boost but, not much power gained???
Something is going on with the waste gate at top end???
We're using E 85 pump fuel.
the best we got was 330whp

What do you mean you dont have any other choice but to run 2 ECU ???

The trans part of the stock ecu has to see and be able to adjust to the engine part of the stock ECU , it will never run right unless the trans part of the ecu can see what the engine changes are and the engine part of the ecu wont run right unless it can see what the trans is doing , when you have the engine being controlled in another ECU it wont see the written changes

Why not just use the stock ECU for engine and trans

What boost are you making ?

If that was the case it would run in limp mod, the stock ECU believe it's running the engine as well.

20psi says it on the dyno sheet.

Well if Carl @ massive sent me the right ECU then I brought the pro racer from cfm and it didn't work.
I need the auto 2.0l auto ECU with the black Security box then it might work but, I can't waste anymore money.
Between sct and msd about $2000.

Abs why is that???

How can you tune the stock ECU, sct Australia doesn't and won't susport this no turbo focus and that we had to use 2 ECU

The AU ECU are the same the ECU/strategy coding is different , I know I tune them Foci in AU

AU is a letter then 3 numbers like 1SXY
US is 3 letters and a number like LFQ0

No one in the US can sell you a Pro Racer package that will work on any AU cars , I have been through all this and took for ever to figure it out

You should of asked before you spent all that money

Carl at massive doesnt have a clue what he is doing and knows better then to try to swap out a different strategy ecu , the ECU strategys must match or at least be from the same family

It wouldnt go into limp mode , why would it do that ? yes it might see the engine running but it cannot see the changes your should be making to loads and TQ to get the trans to work properly among other things

Herrod Motorsports is who controls SCT in AU , Is that who you contacted

See some times it best to not burn bridges so you can ask for help , If you had asked I could of saved you a ton or time and thousands on dollars

I know how it all works out and don't forget we went down the same road and I got burnt as well.

Who said I was using the au ECU, I was trying a different ECU at the time..lol
1bad is ECU
Herrod motor sport doesn't support this non turbo focus at all, my tuner can tune with sct but, herrod
