ultra filter oil filter

first of all i did search and didnt find any topic on this filter.

i found this oil filter that never has to be replaced. its call the ultra oil filter found on http://www.hopupracing.com/troilfifofof.html . it kinda reminds me of the air filters that you have to clean, but for these i guess u gotta get the filter inserts from the manufacture. So it claims to have better hp for ur car. ...

i understand better filtering and better flow. which translates into cleaner oil for longer peroids of time and i guess better oil pressure?

i also just picked up a k&n oil filter and i guess it would have the same concept as the ultra oil filter, just that the k&n isnt reusable.

so anyone have these oil filters or could explain the benifit of getting an better oil fiter over a fram or motorcraft filter? thanks

more to come:-D

A washable oil filter wont filter as well as a good quality disposable filter.

Another oil filter study

If you really want to improve oil filtering, get a bypass oil filter.

Just use a mid grade, name brand oil filter for your car...doesn't have to cost $100, but shouldn't cost $2 either. I use Motorcraft oil filters($5) and Mobil 1 10w-30 oil every 2500 miles.
