You will be far better off with a SVT header

You DO NOT need the UDP thy do not add any HP

You will be far better off getting the tuning from me for your tuning needs

Comp cams will depend on what other mods your going to do other then the above , if the above is all your going to do I wouldnt do cams

Tom

Agreed

Anything sold as a "chip" is either total garbage or NOS out of date technology, Custom Tuning with a "Tuner" thru the OBD port is the best way to do tuning currently.

Tom's a great source for custom tuning, better than a "canned" tune that won't exactly match your vehicle or mods.. FSWerks main Tuner from the past has left for other employment working on MkIII's & other cars, so we have no info. on who's doing their work these days.

It is easy to say is total garbage when you have a Dyno close to home but here in Cleveland I don't have many options. Hey Tom you know anyone in ohio can help me with "tuner" is too far NC to me 8 hours... how is the best cramshaft stage 2 to buy. Hey sailor you are lucky you live far because with my trash I dare race with you. Me with my chip and you and your tuning.... Just kidding

My 2.3 might give me an advantage...

FocusSport ECU chip from SCT is tech from '04 era, you can't buy one tuned for your car today - it'd have to be something used that was programmed for a different car. Maybe on it working, No on it working "right". I Googled it up just to find an FF thread that included Randy talking about the new product back then, didn't have Focus myself at the time.

Read up in the "Tuning" section to see what's current now, if Tom can "tune" folks in England, Australia, Thailand etc. Cleveland shouldn't be an issue (grin). Dyno Time isn't needed to get 'er done.

Current "Chips" sold are typically gadgets that hook up to the MAF to try & fool the ECU, lots of reviews online from unhappy people on that stuff.

There are options that work, just tryin' to steer you away from ones that don't do the job.

This looked like a shopping list, NOT a list of what you had already installed.

Now I've gotta guess you've got all of this but cams?

Thread started with a question on aftermarket head passing E-check, your current list wouldn't pass many places, since the header/exh. wouldn't pass a visual.

If you want to modify it more, a tune would be the way to go to adapt to any additional changes - can't change the chip you've got AFAIK.
