parts to a 2.0l zetec

Can someone give me a list of absolutely every part to an engine? Springs, valves etc. I'm trying to find a complete list but I'm having no luck. If there's a thread please point me to it

Odd & difficult question.

There's no specific listing like that, even in the Ford parts listings, as you've got to decide just where to draw the line for parts included in your list.

Basic mechanical components?

Block, Head & mechanical bits? How detailed?

Are you including intake, exh. header, sensors?

Even with common definitions of "short block", "long block" and "complete engine assy." the exact parts included varies.

We could give you a basic rundown if you specify a bit, for a full listing of every bit & piece you'd have a lot of research to do.

like I'm going to go online off this list and order all the parts to build an engine I'll be boosting. So like block, head, springs, tit retainers, valves, pistons, rods, studs and bolts, gaskets, cam, crank, cam gears, water pump, oil pump, belts, bearings, thermostat. Etc etc

Wow, NASCAR level budget to do that - haven't ever seen that done.

You could buy an engine expertly rebuilt to your specs. for a fraction of the budget to acquire all those parts.

Lots of research needed to put all that together, and some of the parts may be hard to find. NOS block in particular will likely be hard to source.

I'll move this to Zetec performance, a better place than this repair section for your question.

Here's a link to a vendor on here who can do the tuning, turbo kit & engine build as desired:http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/f...splay.php?f=72

Figure out your actual goals, and he can tell you what's needed to reach them.

Read up a bit in the Forced induction section to get a better idea of what's been done & what it takes to get there.

Built engine & good turbo setup complete could run you the price of a cheap new car, you're still talking serious $.
