stock or 2.5 inch exhaust diameter

I was really satisfied with what I've done I've installed a Magnaflow with my stock piping am I gotsta now from what I've read it seems that if I go up to 2.5 inch it would benefit more than just what I have on it now stock diameter exhaust piping with my Magnaflow by magma flows in 2.5 diameter along with my catalytic converter is the same 2.5 diameter

and just F.Y.II replaced my center muffler with the Magnaflow and just deleted the tell piping and it sounds absolutely wonderful and deep really really nice deep growl

Actually you will not lose any hp going to a 2.5". You will gain better breathing at higher rpms. When combined with a better intake the engine can breathe better and make a little more power and have improved throttle response in the above 3k rpm for sure.

Going to a larger exhaust even a 3" it has shown the Zetec does not loose power. However you will shift your curve, you will be increasing the area of the curve for both HP and Torque but where the peak occurs will change but the important thing is the over all area under should increase.
