It'll read fine. Aluminum it good at dissipating heat, but since the sensor is in the liquid immediately after the hose, it'll be accurate.

It will read it just fine but I have a OEM Ford DY1144 3/8 NPT temp sensor (from a older model Contour) And it Ohms out at 27 the stock SVT one Ohms out at 29.5 .......so the dilemma Im in right now is, will the ecu read it as correct, on the gauge and in the ECU? the hookup where the cable plugs in is the same as the SVT but im going around to different part houses and Ohming out different brand Coolant temp sensors and they are all a little different so I think what I have will work just fine just want to be sure before I slap it on though. Im doing the leg work for you guys and Bostig.... Bostig uses a corvette sensor but theirs isnt read through the ECU only the gauge so it doesnt matter but for our fofo's it reads for BOTH so it does matter.

I don't ever trust 2nd or 3rd hand information, so I could care less who you say has burnt up what. If they wish to talk the door's open.

A forced induction kit is far different than a simple water outlet housing. There's virtually no way a chunk of AL this simple is going to melt your engine down.


So your first hand knowledge of the company is what exactly?

I wonder if they can make one with the bypass hose as an -8AN fitting, and no bleed nipple on the upper radiator hose.... Would work perfect for my turbo project then.

Need your help guys, I know this piece is a quality part but I don't need heater hoses and is a bit pricey as it is in $300 plus shipping right now. I only run the hose coming from the rad and the small overflow hose and that is it, thermostat housing craks easily because of the heat of the turbo and one leg of the brace sits in top of it but would like to run the thermostat.


So my question is, anybody knows what flange will fit in the head? I know Mercedes, Chevy, ranger 2.3 and some Jaguars are 3 bolts but what would fit or with a slight modification can fit? Had something in mind simple as this.
