yes. or you can use the stock snorkel without the ram scoop on top
got the first real impressions of this yesterday as it was the first 50+ day outside, and it got to about 70. really increased the pull at lower ends, and has a great sound too. better throttle response is always a plus too!

I've heard people say stock SVT with a good panel filter making more hp than a Cai like arm but I have as yet to actually see dyno #s to prove it. Would like to see some specs for comparison.

i'd argue the volant makes it alot better at speed, when that scoop is getting massive amounts of air. topped with a larger diameter tube form the TB, and a larger air box with a cone filter. That box also has tubes out the bottom and the side to suck in air underneath and from right behind the headlight. so much air, instead of one tube that has to go under the battery creating restriction.

no, the ram air scoop goes to right where the stock snorkel goes in the front end, uses the same 2 bolt spots even. but instead of having to go under the battery with a bunch of 90 degree turns, it's one straight path that is then curved right into the air box. the air scoop is about twice as wide as an svt snorkel though

you could fab up a tube from the bottom opening where the snorkel goes, and put it to suck air in from the bottom grille though, if you want

You can also run a hose from the side snorkel down to the front grill area as well. Here is a write-up on how to do that. >>Click Here<<

I just clipped a spectra cone filter onto were the filter box hooks up, left stock snorkel on, then cut up a pizza box to block hot air from the engine rapped with aluminium foil... Isn't that good enough? cost = $20.00

Could make more power, but it sounds great and that was my goal...
