would this set up be good to get if I were trying to get rid of the egr that's blocked off already.. as there would be no visual for the smog person to see?? unless you can block this off at the manifold but I am unsure...thanks guys

You can get block off plates that you "insert" between valve and the intake. That would be the best option. You can make one your self out of some sheet metal from the improvement store or you can buy them.
