Screw emissions. Move to a better county. There are plenty in Ohio that don't care what your car does, like mine.

when i take it into e check i will see if i can do the roller test instead of the obd 2 port test. its hit or miss but if they let me ill be able to do that in the future and it should be running efficiently enough to still pass. i would love nothing more than to run it with a standalone and a MAP sensor and nothing more than the longest trumpets i can fit and some foam slip on filters but moving just inst an option at this point

That is why I really don't want to move back to Streetsboro since Portage has E-check. My friend, who lives in Lake county, actually uses my address to register his cars. They tried to pass E-check in Hardin county but failed since majority of the people wouldn't be able to pass nor be able to afford to fix them to pass. lol

But I know how it is as I am a poor boy, so I have to move back to one of the rents till I repair my finances. Craptastic house ruined me

You'll have hell making the stock computer work with ITB.

MAP does not work as well as MAF for high-perf work either.

I do not agree with the post above saying that there must be no intruding bells, look at many much higher hp/liter high-perf bike motors out there that do just that, they make gobs more power than these motors do. I've got 3 different designs myself that do and they work just fine. Manufacturers commonly extend the bell further back into the airbox to get critical length needed for tuning. Once you are past the throttle blade going backwards, airbox VOLUME and distance from the opposite wall to entry of the bell can become tuning points. When airbox volume is large enough then box really ceases to matter, it becomes a pressure wave ABSORBER acting at close to atmospheric. Absorption can be valuable since reverse waves coming out but not deadened can bounce off back wall and go back into motor again to interfere with primary waves.

Of course there's usually an air filter in there somewhere to complicate matters more.

i talked to tom a while back about tuning it and he said if i can keep a MAF in place hes pretty damn sure he can tune it so when the time comes im gonna work with tom and the local guys with a dyno and if tom and big 3 cant get it running on the stock computer i will give in to a standalone at which point i wont need a plenum because i can just go MAP and run some nice trumpets

Depending on a couple things, you should be able to splice the GSXR TPS into the Ford wiring.

Most all engine sensors are 5v, and this goes for more than just automotive.

I'm running a 90's Mustang TPS on my car W/O issue.
I pulled the pins from the stock pigtail and put them into a Mustang pigtail, no splicing involved.
If the GSXR pins are similar to the Ford ones, it's pretty simple to do. And even it they aren't exact it's not a big deal to get new pins or modify to fit.

I'd measure the resistance range of both TPS, if the ranges are similar I'd go for it. It's how the resistance affects the 5V coming into the part that tells PCM what to do.
