To be honest, I don't remember the size of the collector. I'm pretty sure that it is 2.5'', but I'm not 100% sure.

this is only a snowball's chance in the bad place if i can find an svt, but for the egr, couldnt you just cut the erg bung off the stock manifold and mig weld it to the svt header? or are they 2 different kinds of metal?

Keep in mind, the EGR tube is a different length/shape as well. You'd have to modify the stock Zetec one to get it to hook up. Ford sells a "revised EGR tube" in their SVT/ZX3 header conversion kit for this purpose.

It will bolt directly to the zetec exhaust. But it will sound much better on the svt exhaust because the svt exhaust has a resonator and a muffler whereas the the zetec exhaust only has the muffler

I got mine tuned at a local shop that was able to put it on a dyno. You don't want to do a mail order tune

To get it tuned, you buy a tuner (Xcal/Diablo) and then have someone like Tom or another shop tune it on a dyno or with a premade tune file. Most people on here swear by Tom's tune. It's on my ever-growing list of things to eventually do to my car.

Can we try and keep this on track? There are countless threads that discuss tuning (and even an entire forum) in detail.
