Will 18x9.5 et38 wheels fit on a '13 SE hatchback with eibach pro kit?

I replied in your other thread. You will have to be careful with tires, and I'm not sure if any mods will need done to the suspension on the inside of the wheel to clear.

Stock 235's won't fit as they will be even with the fenderwells. Wheel lips may poke slightly.

I base this on the online calculator here: https://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Whee...et-Calculator#
The calculator says 9.5/38mm vs my 8.5/42mm wheels:
Inner Clearance: 9mm LESS (the inside of the wheel to the strut housing)
Outer Position: EXTEND an extra 17mm (position of the outside edge of the wheel)

On my car, this is the visual of where I'm at with 8.5" 42mm offset. 17mm out further is roughly 5/8" more outward "poke".

Thank you for your reply. So I will need to run a 225 or less in order for it to maybe work? Is the ST suspension configured differently than the regular Focus? I dont know if I should pull the trigger on these wheels now! LOL

They can work with 235s but it's tight. eglove has 18x9.5 +38s on his bagged ST.

225 I think is playing it safe, but a little too much stretch for me.

My car is on the pro-kit with the Ti 18x8 with 245/40 tires, I have some minor rub in the rear on hard dips at highway speeds and slight rub when I have a car full of people around town. (haven't tried a car full of people at highway speeds)

I can't seem to trace down where exactly it's rubbing, I just know it's in the rear. I can see a little evidence of it on the inside rear tires, but can't see where it's rubbing on the suspension.

So I shouldnt have issues with a 18x8 et42 and 235 40 18 tires?

Nope, you'll be fine. That's very close to factory spec.

The extra 1.5" width on the wheel was the questionable issue with the 18x9.5 wheel sizing.

Theres tons of ST's running 18x9.5, no issues... same with se...but 18x9.5 will have the steering wheel move a lot more and the car (depending on tires too) will wander, following road defects and road crown....I am looking at aftermarket rims and think I will go with thinnner rims, also because I don't love the stretched look
