Wheel swap between 2010 and 2012?

Hi folks. I am BRAND new here. I just purchased a 2012 focus and it has 15 inch steel rims with plastic hubcaps. I want to swap these out with the 16 rims from my 2010 coupe. Is this possible?

Thanks

Nope, we can tell it's BRAND new to you (haven't looked under the caps) since the '12 uses a 5-bolt wheel and all the earlier ones had 4-bolt wheels.

Some good swaps pop up in the BST section though when folks take off their stock alloys and don't want to save them.

P.S. - welcome to FF!

Thanks! I guess with little effort I could've figured that out in short order. I have enjoyed my 2010 focus coup, having bought it in feb 2012 and put 108K miles on it in addition to the 8K it came with.

The 2012 is a very basic model with 31K. It has already had the transmission issue repaired. Hopefully that will be all it needs. We'll see.

No point making you search, there's more info. at the top of this section.

Cross fingers & drive it like you stole it, they seem to like that better than being babied.

Lots more in the MkIII sections for ya, enjoy it and don't worry too much. The "how to drive" stickie in that section is good for some basic info. on them.
