Wheel Spacers

Hey everyone,
Does anyone have any recommendations on what wheel spacers work best or recommend for a 2014 Ford Focus SE hatchback?

Thank you,
Tre Hurst

I was actually at O'reillys the other day and they sell what's supposed to be a universal 4 lug wheel spacer, they were like $17 for 2. If the universal part is true, there's no real reason not to go with a cheapo part there, it's basically just a big washer.

I've brought up the subject in the past and smarter guys than me said they will throw off suspension component geometry somewhat and could increase wear and tear. But with aftermarket suspension that geometry is no doubt altered already. I'll probably give them a shot just to see how it is, might look good.

Ah cool thanks for the info! I heard the same thing about throwing the suspension too so I was worried about that. I figured it would look cool. Let me know if you do it and like it please!

Honestly, I can't see a couple of degrees of change there from factory spec to have that much of an impact as long as you're not going way overboard with it.

if going more than 5mm, the usual recommendation is to get extended wheels studs to compensate

Rambleon84, I think if I intended to go wider than 5mm I would just try the spacers out and see if there's sufficient thread contact there. I'll have to look into that though.
