Question Tire size/Speedometer

OK, I went from the stock 15 inch tires to new 205/40/17.....what I was hoping to find out was will this change affect my speedometer and if so, by how much?

Not by much since you are going to smaller tires. I went from 15" to 18" without any noticeable differences.

Nope, and if there is I couldn't notice one when I had 40's. The total radius is just a small fraction smaller than the 15" setup. So if there is a difference your car will be going slower than you think it is.

If you really want to, you can get it re-sync'd too.

Also, this may be of some use to you: http://www.therangerstation.com/Spee...rom_Tires.html
