Question Now I'm Pis***

Just bought a slightly used 02 Focus SVT. Sonic Blue, great car, and runs great just like my last Focus. Now I'm looking to upgrade the brakes. But wait. Easier said than done. I don't want EBC because they rust. And Powerslot seems to make them just for the regular Foci. Any recommendations????

I got my rotors from focussport I mean they have heat cracks from how I drive. But they look cool but I would not buy them again. It doesnt seem like they helped out at all. I mean I had like 3 sets of high performance brakes on them and it still seemed like it was when i was on the stockies.

Yeah they do but of course its CRAZY expensive. But if you want better brakes then you gotta pay. Frankly I dont understand why you need better brakes the SVT has amazing brakes.

i can understand upgrading the brakes. what the hell good is 250 hp if you can't control it correctly? and i know it doesn't have that much power, it's just an example.

Where can you get Brembo rotors by themselves for the SVTF? I've only found Brembo rotors for the regular Focus being sold seperately by both Brembo's SPORT application and FocusSport, but not for the SVTF .

Shaunq, you said you got your rotors from FocusSport but they are the slotted OE rotors right? They are not dimpled or crossdrilled?

Also I know KVR sells Cross-drilled and slotted rotors for the SVTF. Here's a link:

Ive looked for brembo rotors, but they arent made for the 13" SVT size, lpus theyre flat not slotted or grooved. And focus sport seemed like an answer until shaunq said they crack. I dont drive hard at all. This car is my baby until the supercharger comes.
