Difference between 205/40ZR17 vs 215/45ZR17s...

Is an inch in diameter enough to through off my speedo and mileage with 205/40ZR17s? I know it is but is it worth worrying about? I have some tires that have about 10,000 miles left on them and I don't want to waste them. Thinking about just running them rather than the stock SVTs 215/45ZR17s...

Can't different tire company's tires differ by up to an half an inch?

215/45-17 3.8in 12.3in 24.6in 77.3in 819 0.0%
205/40-17 3.2in 11.7in 23.5in 73.7in 860 -4.7%

So...in reality should I worry about it? I don't want my miles racking up any faster then they should be...

i have 205/40's on my car, i dont think my speedo is off more than say 3-4 mph, im going to have Wayne send me a new program one of these days to correct that in the ecu. And yea, i got alittle more wheel gap than i had thought, and mine is lowered to.
