Baer 13in big brake upgrade, SVT

found this on ebay, seems awfully cheap for what it is, $200 ? usually big brake kits run from about $900+, considering maybe buying it, but i am very sketical of it because of the price. I've never heard of anyone upgrading the SVT brakes anyways, would it even be worth the money if i did buy it?

Its not really worth it- the SVT brakes already outbrake serious sports cars. Also, a Focus hardly weighs enough to warrant 13in brakes- you would barely get enough heat in them. Theres no point in getting bigger brakes if the stockers can already lock up the tires easy enough- if you autox, concentrate on stickier tires before big brakes.

Yeah Baer, Wilwood, Brembo all have good reputations. I think this might be a scam though BMX.

Baer is an excellent brake company but not as good as Brembo

And yes this deal seems way to good to be true. I have a feeling he would nail you on the shipping costs since he doesn't want to list the price.

I dont think theres anything wrong with Baer. I've always understood them to be one of the best, like Wilwood and Brembo
