Gun Metal or Hyperblack?

Hello,

I am shopping for rims right now and my car is a liquid grey color. With this color, does the gun metal color match better or does the hyperblack color rims? I went to the wheel shop and noticed that the hyperblack might look best, but what do you think? Thanks a lot.

The trouble is gunmetal is not a consistent color from manufacturer to manufacturer. For example, Rota's gunmetal is very dark. But then again they have a dark silver color in between the regular silver and their gunmetal colors. The gunmetal from some other manufactures is a simple gray. Sorry but its kind of a crap shoot on what might show up on your doorstep if you haven't actually seen and compared them. Don't assume all gunmetal colors are the same, they will very in shade.

Thanks Geezer, thats what I was noticing also- the difference of the gun metal colors. If anyone owns a liquid grey with rims and has opinions, please let me know what you think looks good/best. Thanks

I love gunmetal ,but, hyperblack is almost a perfect match, my rims look like they were made to match my car in person, hyperblack isnt black is a different shade of grey. ive got hyperblack katana's on my liquid grey, check it out in my gallery if you want an example

I like gunmetal wheels, but would never want to have them on a gunmetal car unless they match.
I have seen gunmetal Foci that look good with bright wheels, white, yellow, etc.

i say no funmetal unless they are almost the same color as the car barely different or else they look like cheap paitn jobs that came out dark or light. I saw a liquid grey today with black and they look pimp , but it also dependss on the rims. I personally odnt like the black like 16 spoke rims i like either a 5 spoke or a rim that barely has spoke like a thick center section
