Question weak wheels?

after putting my wheels on for the season(s) the other day,i discovered that 2 rims were bent from last year, pretty decent size defects, and the others are slightly warped and not very balanceable. after talking to a few others, it seems like ford makes some pretty weak wheels across the board for the focus..does anyone else have any info or have had similar problems?

hmm...lemme guess, ford does nothing for this either? ( i think i may have answered my own ? but considering the fact that its a wear and tear item, most likely not..)

it's hard

to get Ford to replace wheels under warranty.

Because 'in spec' to them is very broad - plus you'd have to bend them - no matter if they were made out of plastic Ford would say it's your fault.

You shouldn't be driving your car to begin with. You know you're just going to mess it up.

: )

I have a pretty good size dent in the lip of my 5 spoke, but the bead is still holding. I must've hit a pot hole a little too hard, but I still think the factory wheels should be stronger than that.
